DPS organised a webinar on 21/09/2021 with ConsenSys on the legal framework conditions for crypto assets in Germany.
Dr. Izzo-Wagner and Dr. Grohe from the Annerton law office presented an overview of the current legal situation surrounding tokenised assets, electronic securities and digital currencies, and provided an outlook on anticipated changes, in particular in relation to MiCA. Florian Sager, digitisation specialist at LBBW, provided an assessment of opportunities and risks from the viewpoint of established banks to supplement the presentation. ConsenSys presented the product Codefi, a software platform based on the Ethereum network that can be used to issue and manage digital assets in a simple, legally compliant manner.
